Company Leadership

Steve Booker, President
Steve launched Life Systems, Inc. in 1977 as a niche distributor for medical technology in the acute care market. As the direction of the company moved from hospitals to long-term care, so did Steve’s vision. His primary goal was to bring products to nursing homes that would enhance their efficiency and level of resident care – and do so in a manner that was affordable and economically feasible – and to become the leader in sales and service of point of care devices in the long-term care market.

Steve was the first to connect automated blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters and thermometry on a rolling stand so it could be rolled from room to room when he introduced the first “Nurse Rosie.” Today, the “Nurse Rosie” concept has been implemented into a single, configured system and is found in most nursing homes effectively and efficiently serving the needs of TLC residents and caregivers.

Never one to think inside the box, Steve continues to develop systems that meet the ever changing needs of long-term care. His most recent creation is RosieConnect, a bedside to Electronic Medical Record mobile solution. Now, everything connects with RosieConnect, seamlessly and without the need for integrating each device independently.

Whatever product Nurse Rosie Products is selling, Steve has remained steadfast in maintaining Nurse Rosie Products’ reputation for quality products, fast and efficient service, and competitive pricing.

Marie Booker, Executive Vice President

Marie has been working at Nurse Rosie Products, distributed by Life Systems, since 1996 when she joined her husband, Steve, in the family business in sales and customer service. She has had her hand in many facets of the company in the years following and in her current position as Executive Vice President she works closely with the Director of Marketing, Sales Department and in a supporting role to the President. In the wake of steady growth, Marie’s primary concern is to maintain the attributes which come with a family run business; such as, treating each customer with uncompromised, individual attention and being able to quickly respond to the needs of our customers and the long term care market as a whole.
